Open Skate

We're opening up our building every Wednesday after school from 2:30 - 4:30 PM for middle / high schoolers to come hang out and skate! Come chill on a bean bag chair, do homework, play dodgeball, and skate our mini ramp and indoor park.

Weenie Wednesday

One way we like to be good neighbors to the high school next door is by hosting Weenie Wednesday. On the first Wednesday of every month we bust out our grill and cook hundreds of hot dogs for the students at Soquel High who walk through our parking lot. They get, a bottle of water, bag of chips, and hot dog, and we get some high fives, smiles, and an opportunity to get to know them.

Our Story...

The next generation and those outside our doors will always be our focus at Santa Cruz Hope. For the last few years we've had the opportunity to partner with a local skateboard shop to create a place for youth on the East Side of Santa Cruz. However, due to rising rent prices, that shop was forced to move. Consequently, Skate Church lost its place to meet, but God provided in a really big way! Check out this video (filmed Dec. 2014) to hear the story!
